ABOUT US
Our Mission
Hello and welcome to Turning Point Leeds! I’m Ryan Bradshaw, the Headteacher, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to our unique educational community.

At Turning Point Leeds, our vision is to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment where every young person can realise their full potential. We believe that education should be flexible, inclusive, and tailored to meet the individual needs of each pupil. Our ethos is rooted in the belief that every pupil deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of the challenges they may face in mainstream education.

Thank you for choosing Turning Point Leeds. We look forward to working with you and your pupils to achieve academic excellence and personal growth.

Our commitment to the LS14 community and local schools across Leeds drives us to provide exceptional education and support. We specialise in assisting young people who are at risk of suspension or exclusion, those who are disengaged from mainstream education, and those struggling with transitions. Our bespoke reintegration plans ensure that our support continues even after students return to their host schools

At Turning Point Leeds, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young people. We believe in their potential, and we are here to help them succeed every step of the way.
Best regards,
Ryan Bradshaw

Our core values are:

-
Empowerment: We aim to empower our pupils by providing them with the tools, confidence, and support they need to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Through personalised learning plans and one-on-one mentoring, we help each student discover their strengths and build on them.
-
Inclusivity: We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and respected. Our programmes are designed to cater to a diverse range of needs, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Community: We believe in the power of community and the importance of fostering strong relationships between students, staff, and families. Our daily breakfast catch-ups and collaborative activities help build a sense of belonging and mutual support.
-
Holistic Development: Education at Turning Point Leeds goes beyond academics. We focus on the holistic development of our students, incorporating personal, social, and emotional learning into our curriculum. Our facilities, including sports areas, a kitchen for culinary skills, and outdoor spaces, support a wide range of activities that nurture well-rounded individuals.
-
High Standards: We maintain high expectations for all our students, preparing them for a successful reintegration into mainstream education. By mirroring the standards and expectations of their host schools, we ensure a smooth transition and continued success.
